MIAMI – Hurricane Bill became a Category 4 storm as it rumbled across the Atlantic early Wednesday with maximum sustained winds near 135 mph.

And forecasters say the dangerous hurricane could get even stronger.

The National Hurricane Center said people in the Leeward Islands should monitor Bill’s progress, though the core of the storm was expected to pass well to the northeast of the islands late Wednesday and early Thursday.

“The wind sheer is light and the waters are warm,” Todd Kimberlain, a forecaster at the center, said Tuesday. “Those are two essential ingredients not just for the formation, but also the maintenance, of hurricanes.”

Early Wednesday, Bill was centered about 460 miles east of the Leeward Islands and moving west-northwest near 16 mph.

The most significant threat could be to Bermuda, which the storm could pass in three or four days, Kimberlain said. But it also could move directly between Bermuda and the eastern coast of the U.S. without making landfall.

Either way, people near the coast can expect wave swells and rip currents in the next few days, Kimberlain said.

Meanwhile, people in flood-prone Haiti and the Dominican Republic awoke to good news Tuesday as it appeared Ana, the first named storm of the Atlantic season, had largely spared their shared island.

The two countries that share the island of Hispaniola are vulnerable to storms, with many impoverished people clustered along rivers, but there were no reports of major damage from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ana. The system had been downgraded to a tropical depression and then largely dissipated before reaching Haiti and the Dominican Republic, but its rains were still considered a potential threat.

Forecasters had revised their Atlantic hurricane season predictions for this season after the first two months passed without any named storms developing.

FOOTPRINTS in the SAND

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

“LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me.”

The LORD replied:

“My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”

They are my bestfriends. Princess Dianne Bellido Decolongon and Ma. Fatima Heredero Salico. Thay are my classmates since First Year. Cez graduated in Tomas Earnshaw Elementary School in Sta. Ana Manila while Fatchy graduated in Tiniguiban Elementary School. We are not close in our First year in this school. Actually we dont like each other, maybe because we have opposite attitudes. Cez is a prank girl, she always say and do what she wants. And sometimes she didnt care about others feeling in her actions. She is super nice to me, she helps me in all things, specially in this log.. hehe Fatchy is also nice to me, a caring and loving friend of mine. When I am sad she always make me smile even though she looks like “corny” sometimes.. haha. We became friends for only one reason.. It is because.. We are not “PLASTIK”, we are trying to show what we really feel. And we will still bestfriends FOREVER!! Thank you Fatchy and Friendship!! I Love You.. ^^

CITY SCIENCE HIGH–my alma mater

I am currently studying in not popular school like Palawan State Universuty, Holy Trinity College, Palawan National School, etc. very far from downtown, no stores around and very strict. But– this school is very active in academic competitions. It is always on the top, and the students are very active.

It is a school found in Brgy.Sta.Monica Height, Puerto Princesa City. Was built on 1990. Our principal is Madam Cristina Garduce Buenafe. It has 6 building, Science and computer Laboratory, canteen, Library, and SSC room. And has 14 staff, including our computer aide, utility man, and guard.

Now we are about to finish the last station in this school. And I admit that I learn SSSSOOO many things. This school will always live forever in my Life. Thank you! my City Science High Family. MY BELOVED FUTURE ALMA MATER..

Blog, Blogger, Blogging

A blog (a contraction of the term “weblog“)[1] is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketches (sketchblog), videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), and audio (podcasting). Micro-blogging is another type of blogging, featuring very short posts.

Blogger (formerly Blogspot until 2006) is a blog publishing system. It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. The service itself is located at www.blogger.com, and blogs that do not publish to their own websites are hosted by Google at subdomains of blogspot.com.

Blogging is a form of digital communication that is posted on a website, usually available to be read by anyone with access to the Internet, in contrast to e-mail, which is a message directed to specific individuals. A blog usually consists of a reverse-chronological series of dated journal entries, and may include photos, videos and audio files. Bloggers frequently encourage dialogue with their readers by allowing them to post comments on the site.

He always take good care of me, assure that I eat on time, that I feel well, and he is the one whom take good care of me everytime I am sick.

They are, Gerald Anderson, and Kim Chui. The best thing I really like about them is, they are not “plastic”. They show who really they are, and especially not disguising! unlike others. They are showy persons, they show what they feel, and one this is, they really enjoy each others company. As far as I know, they are not yet in relationship, but who knows? maybe tomorrow or the following days, they announce! haha.. Im hoping for that day to happen.. ^^, Again, my favorite loveteam.. God’s Blessings

New friends and old
Adventures so bold
God’s way of saying
Are you still praying

Met a senior friend who
Loves to laugh and play
Charming and daring
And she’s so caring

So when we let go
To step out boldly
God’s mission is done
As we unite as one

To find kindness and love
Acceptance and laughter
These are truly God’s gifts
That we share ever after

So take that first step
And say how do you do
The riches of God’s blessings
Are just waiting for you

~ Angels are Weeping ~

I hear the angels weeping.
I see their heads bow’d low.
Their wings surround
Those brok’n-heart’d,
So wound’d by this FOE!

I see the angels huddl’d
Near a mother, in such pain,
Because the child
She searches for
May ne’er be found again.

I hear the brush of angel’s wings,
So near they are to you.
GOD sent them there
To minister for these
Trials you’re going through.

I hear the angels saying,
“Brave ONES, don’t let hope die.
GOD will ne’er leave
Nor forsake you.
On this YOU CAN Rely!!!”

Jesus, Captain of Life’s Sea

I have a friend in Jesus
Who guides me through the gale
A first mate and a skipper
Who helps me to set sail.

He offers strength and guidance
A helmsman at the wheel
An ever-steady beam of light
A fortress made of steel.

He’s the master of the ocean
My refuge and my rock
A harbor that I turn to
My anchor at life’s dock.

He’s a mighty sailing warrior
A helping hand indeed
A pilot through the churning waves
He meets my every need.

He’s the One I always run to
When the waves won’t let me be
The lighthouse that I turn to
On a rough and troubled sea.

He’s a smoothly sailing vessel
A refuge from the storm
The gentle breeze that sends me to
An island, sweet and warm.

He’s a brave and fearless skipper
A shelter from the heat
Water when I’m thirsty
A vessel filled with wheat.

He’s a sure and steady sailor
My Captain on life’s sea
No matter where I journey
He goes along with me.

computer..

from: yahoo.com

Computer nowadays is one of the best source of informations. You will learn so many things in using this. It provides information in just a second, and help us, people to live easier. But– computer has also bad side, and it is all our fault!! users.. Many people especiallt us, TEENAGERS are abusing the computer! we used it in abusive way. Many people are fond of playing computer. And this is not good for us, esp. students. Because it now one of the biggest issue why the students cannot pursue to their studies. STOP PLAYING COMPUTER!!! use it properly..

A computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a set of instructions.

Although mechanical examples of computers have existed through much of recorded human history, the first electronic computers were developed in the mid-20th century (1940–1945). These were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers (PCs).[1] Modern computers based on integrated circuits are millions to billions of times more capable than the early machines, and occupy a fraction of the space.[2] Simple computers are small enough to fit into a wristwatch, and can be powered by a watch battery. Personal computers in their various forms are icons of the Information Age and are what most people think of as “computers”. The embedded computers found in many devices from MP3 players to fighter aircraft and from toys to industrial robots are however the most numerous.

The ability to store and execute lists of instructions called programs makes computers extremely versatile, distinguishing them from calculators. The Church–Turing thesis is a mathematical statement of this versatility: any computer with a certain minimum capability is, in principle, capable of performing the same tasks that any other computer can perform. Therefore computers ranging from a mobile phone to a supercomputer are all able to perform the same computational tasks, given enough time and storage capacity.
